Painting…Day 29

Rick and his crew from Carmichael Decorating made a lot of progress painting in the upstairs of the “L” Shaped House. They have easily more than half of the walls covered and plan to be really close to being done by the time they leave this afternoon. The first photo shows the closet wall in Sam’s room with the painting complete. We decided to paint the 45’s in all the bedrooms after soliciting the opinions of a (too?) large committee over the weekend. I think it looks better this way!

The next two photos show the second floor hallway as it wraps around the laundry room corner. In the first we see the entrance to the stairs and book nook in front of the bedroom doorways and laundry room at the far end. In the second…the two closets opposite the kids bathroom and our “sitting spot” outside the laundry room door.

The last photo shows the built-in desk and book shelves in the east end of the book nook. This desk will probably house our family computer & all-in-one printer and be a “homework” spot for the kids.
