Landscaping…Day 5

The JLM landscaping crew has pretty much finished up the lower wall and is hard at work setting the upper. The wide shot below shows the backyard from the West corner of the music room. The two walls run parallel to each other out past the ramp into the patio. The upper wall will then turn back toward the garage.

The next photo shows the upper wall starting to turn toward the garage. It will die into the bank just behind Andy's head creating a semi-circular sitting area behind the garage stairwell. The upper wall will be about 4  1/2 ft high at the house and will step down two courses as it winds toward the back.

The video shows the “jumper’ in action as the crew compacts the soil before setting the modular block wall.
