Landscaping…Day 9

I decided to catch up on yesterday’s progress at the “L” Shaped House with an early visit this morning. Andy and the JLM landscape crew got a lot done after lunch yesterday. The first photo shows the “un-structured” side of the basement walk out with the boulder walls and semi-circular “sitting wall” installed. They have a nice start on the upper boulder wall and have placed a bunch of the boulder out-croppings in the hill. The beginnings of the ramp entrance to the patio are visible at the bottom left. Andy decided to tarp modular wall last night because there is more rain in the forecast…OH!  How I hope they are wrong.

This (slightly warped) panoramic photo of the patio area is shot from the inside corner of the basement wall. The upper and lower boulder walls and the beginnings of the “boulder field” are shown nicely. The small boulder wall that will line the ramp into the patio is visible on the right. The class 5 gravel base is ready for the installation of the Anchor pavers..which might (weather permitting) happen today.
