Jay and his crew set pavers nearly all the way to the front edge of the breezeway deck this afternoon. The panoramic photo below shows the ever expanding paver surface in front of the garage and Jay’s white spray painted line showing where the edge will run. I expect that tomorrow will be another day filled with paver sawing as Jay’s crew starts setting edging around the front corner of the driveway.
The next photo shows the details of the paver surface as it extends into the stoop for the front service door to the garage. Here Jay experimented with a couple of patterns before deciding to run the white accent stones around the perimeter allowing the random patterned pavers from the field to “spill” unobstructed into the stoop.
I really like this arrangement!
