Landscaping…Day 35 (evening report)

Jay and his crew made a lot of progress this afternoon as they pushed the paver driveway surface beyond the front edge of the house. I took this series of photos a little after 6 pm on my way home from work right after yet another late afternoon rain shower. The first photo shows the paver driveway winding across the front of the breezeway deck.

The next photo shows off Jay’s creative capabilities as he worked through applying the edging to the paver driveway along the front of the breezeway porch. The stairs leading to the deck will land on the paver surface directly in line with the door and a planting bed will be installed across the front of the deck along the new curved section of edging.

The third photo shows the new driveway surface from a spot a little further down the front wall of the garage. From this vantage point we can see the white accent “stripe”as it winds along the front of the breezeway deck and disappears into the garage service door stoop. With the stairs and plantings in place this is going to be a very beautiful entry to the “L” Shaped House.

The last photo shows the entire new driveway surface shot while standing on the front of the Caterpillar skid-steer. The photos of the new driveway don’t really do it justice…In person it looks absolutely beautiful!

And finally…a video tour highlighting the very nice paver edging work.
