Jay and his crew are back this morning working on the driveway. The rains over the weekend have left the end of the driveway too wet to lay pavers so they decided to finish installing paver edging and start planting in the rain garden. The photo below shows the first load of plants from Gertens laid out in the garden.
The next photo shows the new plants from the street. Matt Wolf’s rain garden plan (here) calls for a nice variety of native plants including some of the tall grasses seen here. Jay was out picking up two big rocks we plan to integrate into the landscaping plan when I visited around noon. Our address rock will be placed in the front corner of the rain garden facing the street.
