With the expansive parking area in front of the garage behind them Jay and his crew have started to pick up the pace moving the driveway toward Cottage Lane. By noon today they had pavers laid well past the entrance to the front porch and proclaim to be planning to make it past the big maple before they go home tonight. Jay and I worked through a preliminary plan for the sidewalk leading to front porch that will include one step in the paver surface about where the pallet is sitting in this photo. We also talked through the details of the paver edging where the sidewalk and driveway will come together. Jay plans to try to get the beginnings of the plan in place today and tomorrow so that Deb and I can muse about it over the weekend.
