Deb and I went shopping for more lighting fixtures at Lowes and ended up buying an air conditioner for the bonus room. It wasn't until after we unloaded the unit that I realized this marked the first automobile entry into the garage. It seems all together appropriate that Deb’s Suburban was the first vehicle to occupy a space in the garage and she seems pretty convinced that there is going to be room for her car into the future.
The next photo shows Deb’s car from the bottom of the stairs to the mudroom. The 9’ wide doors make backing into the space a breeze and there was plenty of room available behind the Suburban to wrestle the air conditioner out of the back and on to Paul’s saw horses.
The last photo shows the Suburban from the opposite corner of the garage. It’s still a little early to tell “what will go where” in the garage. The second stall includes the bump-out for the stairs to the bonus room which makes a very nice loading and un-loading.
