Andrew and his crew from First Impressions Lawn Sprinklers showed up at the “L” Shaped House early this afternoon to install the first phase of irrigation system. Matt Wolfe and the guys from First Impressions have worked up a sprinkler plan that can expand as we implement the different phases of the landscaping. This first phase covers the all of the plantings we recently installed around the site. The first photo shows one of their brightly colored vans sitting in the driveway.
The two photos below show where the sprinkler system begins…and ends. In the first the main water line enters the ground in a PVC pipe after passing through the backflow preventer in the front corner of the house. The second photo shows the control wires entering the back wall of the garage after winding nearly all the way around the house.
The video shows the cool Ditch Witch machine they use to bury the plastic water lines in action.
The first photo below shows one of the guys wiring control valves in the access box just off the front porch. The second shows another crew member installing a sprinkler head just outside the plastic edging in the backyard.
The photo below shows four control valves plumbed to the main water line in the front yard. The two valves at the bottom of the photo are connected to different zones and ready to go. The valves at the top will be connected to watering zones added later.
And finally…The sprinkler control is mounted just inside the service door on the back wall of the garage.
