We have to make a few selections related to the first floor of The “L” Shaped House as the framing moves along. We chose kitchen appliances some time ago and have the selections in a SmugMug album…here. The sketch below shows the layout of the cabinets, countertop, and island.
The house will have two gas fireplaces… one in the living room, one in the basement family room. The sketch below shows the living room fireplace with one of the cultured stone possibilities on the front face. I’m sure we will tweak some of these selections before we lock into our final choices, but I think we are getting close.
The last sketch shows the basement family room layout. Even though we don’t plan to finish the basement spaces yet…we plan to at least frame in the fireplace, and route the flue, gas, and electrical connections.
