We are going to use Cambria countertops in The “L” Shaped House kitchen. The perimeter counters will have Oakhampton tops. The island will will have an Oxford top. The cabinets will be painted in a “distressed” white and the base for the island will be stained cherry. The sketch below shows a 3D view from the kitchen cabinet design software that includes appliances, countertop & flooring materials, and paint colors.

The Benjamin Moore color fans with our color selections for the cabinets and walls highlighted. The cabinets will be painted in Icicle with a glaze applied to produce the “distressed” look we desire. The walls will be painted in Natural Wicker.
We found this photo of a kitchen that is nearly the same layout as the kitchen in The “L” Shaped House. Although our color scheme will be slightly different this photo represents a close approximation of what we hope to end up having ours look like.
