This is one of those days with so much activity that an evening report seems appropriate. The Tappe framing crew has almost all of the second floor perimeter walls in place. The dormer roof lines are visible on all sides. Tomorrow will almost certainly bring roof trusses into play. The first photo shows The “L” Shaped House from the top of the dirt pile out front…again.
The next photo shows the back side of the house taken from a spot just in front of the utility pole in the back yard.
The next two photos are taken from opposite corners of the second floor. The first from the far corner of the master bedroom looking toward the Northeast. The second from the corner of the bonus room looking back toward the master bedroom. The roof of the “L” Shaped House is a complicated affair with multiple dormers, ridge lines, valleys, and pitch changes. It takes a pretty big imagination to visualize the shape and character of the roof. I think it is going to add a lot to the “interesting” (as in; not boring) look of The “L” Shaped House.
The last photo shows the East side of the second floor including parts of all three bedrooms and the back wall of the bathroom and upstairs laundry. The blue skies and setting sun made for a very pleasant evening at The “L” Shaped House. Its impressive how clean and tidy the Tappe crew leaves the work site each night!
