Painting…Day 44

The Carmichael decorating crew went to work today painting the walls on the first floor of the “L” Shaped House. The first photo shows the kitchen and dining rooms with the front door and foyer in the background. The underside of the archway marks the transition between the natural wicker paint color in the kitchen and the sherwood tan in the dining room, foyer and living room. The music room walls in the far distance are painted in coconut grove.

The next photo shows the cabinets along the oven wall of the kitchen with the island in the foreground. The white cabinets (icicle) and Natural Wicker walls make a nice color combination. Steve Carmichael has a set of doors with a sample of the glaze “distressing” ready for us take a look at tomorrow.

The next photo shows the foyer and dining room from the middle of the living room. Here we can see three of the archways and the Sherwood Tan color that covers the most of the walls on the first floor.

Next the breezeway and main floor laundry room in Berkshire Beige.

Finally the bay window in the dining room with walls painted in sherwood tan, the trim painted icicle white, and the stained and varnished windows.
